The House
Every collection begins with a place, a textile tradition, or a way of making. Whether rooted in the French workman's denim, Igbo craftsmanship, Yoruba weaving, western tailoring, Asian design, or another cultural lineage, each garment is developed with respect for its provenance and reimagined for contemporary life. Nothing is added for ornament alone. Every detail has purpose.
Yibo & Kosy is founded and based in Rotterdam, designed on Akwa, the fashion technology platform, and crafted with a growing network of specialist manufacturing partners and artisans across Europe, Africa and beyond, each chosen not for convenience, but for exceptional mastery in its craft.
The house was founded as Egoyibo Okoro, and its first collection, designed by Egoyibo Okoro, was conceived under that name. As the creative work became a partnership between two siblings, the house became Yibo & Kosy, and Collection 01 is released by Yibo & Kosy: every production piece carries the Yibo & Kosy label.

Kosy brings a longstanding love of fine art and design, and an unusually visual approach to form and composition. Kosy’s design language leans experimental, sculptural and runway-ready, as the first concept collection Kosy developed on Akwa made clear, from sculptural tailoring to heritage-fused drama.
