Akwa offers two paid subscription tiers that unlock different capabilities. This page compares them so you can pick the right one.

The free tier

Free accounts can:

Browse the full Catalogue (no licence purchase required to browse)
Use 5 Akwa Credits a month toward designs and briefs
Download the Tailor Brief and Cultural Design Breakdown PDFs for those designs
Save designs to a personal library

If you only design occasionally, free is fine.

Akwa Pro (€15 / month or €150 / year)

For people who design more than occasionally and want premium output across every brief.

Editorial render with origin-native backdrop on every design
Cultural Design Breakdown PDF included with every brief
Full design history retained
Priority access to new features (View on Model, Atelier mode, capture sketch)

Akwa Studio (€49 / month or €490 / year)

For ateliers, fashion studios, and professional creators who need more volume, multiple seats, and a factory-oriented sample tech pack (for quotation and first sampling; bulk-ready only after an approved sample and factory validation).

Includes everything in Akwa Pro, plus:

150 Akwa Credits a month
Three seats for you and your atelier or tailor team, sharing one design library
Tech Pack: multi-view technical flats (front, back, side, inside-when-applicable), structured BOM, spec sheet, grading table, construction notes, and QC checklist. Ten-page factory-oriented sample tech pack (for quotation and first sampling; bulk-ready only after an approved sample and factory validation).
Founder direct line for studio-tier support
Early access to studio-only features (commission intake forms, client briefing flows, multi-seat collaboration)

Web

Go to akwa.design, sign in, and visit your Settings page. Subscribe via Paystack (Naira market) or Stripe (Euro / USD market) depending on your billing region.

iOS / Android

Subscribe through Apple in-app purchase or Google Play Billing. Both providers handle territory pricing automatically. Subscriptions purchased on iOS are managed via Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.

How to switch tiers

To upgrade from Pro to Studio, cancel your existing Pro subscription through the original provider, then subscribe to Studio. The switch is not yet automated within the app; this will land in V2.
